About B I N
Braathens Information Net aims to be the leading web-site where you can find information about Braathens as an airline, it's history and especially for Fleet Information. The Fleet Census for the 737 is updated regularily and can be considered as up-to-date all the time.
Since I realised someday that the fleet information that I gathered could be interesting also to other Aviation Enthusiasts, I started with the Braathens Fleet Census, which was by then hosted on another website. Now, the Fleet Census is an integral part of B I N.
Specials like "Kings & Queens" or "Bluetails" aim to document facets of Braathens that are currently disappearing or even already have disappeared. More special topics are considered and can be expected to come online in future.
This website is a non-commercial venue, and it is totally independend of (SAS)Braathens.
All information given on B I N can be used free of charge for private purposes. This doesn't include the pictures. Pictures are Copyright-protected and often not taken by myself and I do strongly recommend to ask the photographer before using their pictures. As long as the photographer were known, they are credited. Otherwise, the source will be credited with R.H. Collection. If you find one of your pictures here, please contact me so that I can put the correct name under the picture and honour your copy-right.
About me:
I had my very first flight onboard a Braathens 737 in
March 1999, and many more followed. Somewhen, the interest for Braathens and
especially the Boeing 737 fleet arose, and I started to keep track of what
happened to the aircraft. As my interest loomed, I began realising the many
fascinating facets of Braathens, the different liveries, the names of the
aircraft and all the other small details.
